CURRENT VILLAGES:

YouFeedThem began working with the leaders of the village of Yogo, in the District of Siaya, Kenya, Africa. Please click on the navigation button "YOGO VILLAGE - SIAYA - KENYA" to the left for details on the village of Yogo and the projects that have been completed, those that are underway, and those projects yet to be done.

The good news was spread throughout the area, with neighboring villages seeing the results and successes of the Yogo Community Based Organization.

YouFeedThem was approached by the leaders of two neighboring villages in the community of Seje called "Ulamba" and "Ndori" to assist them with their efforts in duplicating what the Yogo village has accomplished.

A missions team from the supporting church "Stittsville Community Bible Church", on the outskirts of Ottawa, ON, Canada, traveled to these villlages in Seje to meet the leaders and determine their needs. An assessment of the resources, including land and water availability, was completed and the decision was made to proceed with supporting the village.

UPCOMING VILLAGE:

At a recent meeting held in August 2011, It was decided by the leaders of YouFeedThem that during the upcoming Missions trip in the Spring of 2012, the team will visit the community of Sengerema, Tanzania as part of the missions trip efforts.

As part of the YouFeedThem protocol for choosing the villages it will support, this visit to Sengerema will include assessments for land, water, community leadership, and other required resources.

YouFeedThem would like to ask you and your Church or organization to consider supporting this community and partnering with us to bring the much needed help that is required immediately, but also to help them prosper and reach self-sustainability for their future needs.
