Our Schools!

Over the years since September of 2008 we have developed two schools, Yogo & Seje Glory Centre Academies in the Yogo community and Seje community respectively. Our current population is 281 pupils in Yogo with 42 staff across all departments and 200 pupils in Seje and 27 Staff across all departments.

Yogo transitioned students to High School since 2018. A total of 150 students have so far joined Secondary School.
Seje School has transitioned students to high school since 2019. A total of 110 students have since joined Secondary schools.
Our pioneer students are currently in University with the 1st lot being in 3rd year of University study.
The glimmer of hope is becoming evident. We have students in nursing, teaching and medical engineering programs.
Hope is becoming alive. Possibility is our faith language. Who would have fathomed that some of these children would come this far especially when we began the journey.
A total of 27 students are in University. Speroway has become a very key partner in helping transition our sharp students to University Education.
Education is the base factor as an equalizer of men. And my life being a testament we endeavor to open the opportunity to many more students.
Our students receive two meals a day every school day. Majority of students in our schools are either total orphans or partial orphans or vulnerable children.
To mitigate their needs in school, generous partners sponsor them through AMIC at either $50, $60 or $70 per month depending on the stage of schooling.

In the past 7 years, we’ve had a challenge transitioning our students to high school due to cost implications.
This year 2025, we are greatly challenged financially. The budget for both the schools are at about $250,000 Canadian. We are able to raise
$ 90,000.
The area of highest pressure is the feeding program for the children. By supporting the children education you are breaking the vicious cycle of poverty and hopelessness.
Many dreams come alive just by giving the children the opportunity to be in school.
