Stittsville Community Bible Church's (SCBC) primary activities in Seje include:
Launched a school that educates and feeds the most underprivileged children, many of them orphans, within Seje.
Completed the construction of a school building that is holding four classes.
Started construction of an additional school building that will hold the 5th class.
Purchased 2 acres for the school and have completed construction of a multi-purpose building that currently houses all four grades. Eventually this building will serve as a community centre to be used by the school, local churches, and to hold local events.
Developed a water system that provides clean water to the community. Wells are not a viable approach in this region so we built a solar powered system that draws water from a nearby river, filters and chlorinates it, then pumps it nearly a km to a large storage container atop a hill that has distribution lines to several locations, including the school.
Improved housing for widows and the elderly by rebuilding their dilapidated huts, replacing their thatch roofs with tin roofs.
Purchased 3 acres of land that is owned and operated by the community for the purposes of supporting the school. Farming and management of the land is supported by local volunteers.
Sent missions team to Seje to establish relationships with the community members; spend time with the school children; and deliver God’s message of love and hope through both music and teaching.

Gracious Academy - Seje
The first school built with the support of Stittsville Community Bible Church.
Construction is underway for additional school building.
The success of the school children is attributed to excellent teachers, and food!
Beans being prepared for the children to enjoy at lunch time.
Land is being prepped for planting.
During the severe drought in the area, people bicycle to the water collection point in Seje to fill their jerry cans with good, clean water.
A project supported by SCBC, their missions team members installed a playground that is thoroughly enjoyed by the school children.
