Roland's 2021 Alone (in the woods) Challenge began at 9am on Monday,
November 15/21 and he hopes to go for 100 hours, returning at 4pm on Friday, November 19th.  

The ten items that he brought with him are:  1) SWITCHED fishing pole for Axe 2) cross bow 3) rifle 4) hunting knife 5) tent 6) sleeping bag 7) cast iron fry pan 8) cooking pot 9) lighter, and 10) a flashlight.  (Cell phone & charger, clothing, and shoes/boots do not count as part of the 10 items.)

This year Roland is supporting "Yogo Farms" in Kenya which is very dear to his heart. The YouFeedThem projects began in this village of Yogo back in 2008.  It is incredible how the community has grown since that time.  We are still hoping to complete irrigation on one of the plots, and provide other farm implements to help the farm reach it's full potential.  Visit our "Yogo" page to learn all about the growth of the community.

  1. Attach a picture of yourself; 

  2. Let us know the date you'll leave and how many hours you’re going to challenge yourself to; and

  3. Provide your list of TEN ITEMS that you will take with you.
